The Spirit World

Spirits are discarnate or disembodied beings such as ghosts, spirit guides, angels and other entities. Spirits live on another dimension from the physical dimension, but this dimension overlaps the physical dimension, giving spirits the capacity to exist in both planes at once, or to travel from one dimension to another.

Spirit guides are discarnate beings that may be guardian angels, ascended masters, or evolved individuals who watch over us and assist us in our lives and in our spiritual development.

Ghosts are spirits of humans who have died and for some reason, these spirits remain on earth among us. Many time a ghost has ‘unfinished business’- whether due to a sudden or mysterious death where they are stuck trying to reconcile this sudden change, or they are concerned or maintain a strong connection to another person- whatever the case, these ghosts cannot or will not move on into the afterlife. Repetitive hauntings are the repetitions of strong energies stored in a physical location due to a traumatic event. When a traumatic event (a fight, death, etc.) occurs in a location, the energy of that event becomes imprinted in that place. Hauntings do not involve thinking, interactive spirits- they are just like a movie clip played over and over. Examples of repetitive hauntings are the sound of footsteps on the stairs, the sound of music playing at a certain time of night, a ghostly apparition where one action occurs and only that action.

Reincarnation

Reincarnation is the concept that a soul dies and is then reborn on Earth many times. This belief can be found in many of the world’s great religions- Hinduism, Sikhism, Tibetan Buddhism, Kabbalah. At one time Christianity also included a belief in reincarnation until all mention of reincarnation and karma was edited out of the Bible at the Second Council of Constantinople in 553 CCE. The Gnostic gospels, discovered in 1945, speak clearly of reincarnation and karma.

The lineage of Dalai Lamas in Tibet points to the existence of reincarnation. Each Dalai Lama is believed to be the reincarnation of the previous one- proven by the recognition of beloved objects owned by the previous Dalai Lama and identification of people who were part of the previous Dalai Lama’s life.
